The ability to communicate with confidence is paramount for success today. Good communication helps build strong relationships with family, friends, teachers and peers. That is why Speak4Success run weekly group classes for children with communication at their core.
Classes use accelerated teaching methods for high achievement and will empower your child to:
- Talk with confidence to audience/class
- Manage conflict and bullies – gain self-esteem
- Use clear speech with speech correction
- Competently handle school speeches
- Learn to listen, respond clearly and join in class discussions
- Reading clearly, acting and drama skills

All classes draw on the fun and energy of drama and performance - two things most children love.
Term Programme
Terms 1 and 2 are themed around performance. By the end of the programme, they will have the confidence and skills to communicate publicly from a stage.
Terms 3 and 4 are themed around giving a speech, oral presentation skills and more. By the end of the term, they will be able to complete an oral exam through Speech NZ and gain a Certificate.
Time and again, the results show a huge gain in confidence, communication skills and the ability to handle stress. All skills learned align with the NCEA school curriculum and children are taught in a very supportive environment. Most of all though - they have fun with learning often camouflaged.
